PhD Studentships in Sociology and Cultural & Media Studies at the Open University, UK Applications are invited for University funded full-time doctoral research studentships in these areas: * Cultural Economy * Cultural Governance * Cyber culture * Media and cultural industries * Media policy * Popular music culture * Social movements * Race and cultural diversity The studentships will be tenable from 1 October 2002. Applicants should have a good Honours degree and preferably a Masters degree in Sociology or a related subject.
