A few notices from the BUGS team.

*******************************************************************
1) There is new material added to the WinBUGS 1.4 page

http://www.mrc-bsu.cam.ac.uk/bugs/winbugs/secret-page.shtml

including some tips, manual additions and a lot of new examples.
Additional nice examples would be very welcome, especially in the
fisheries/wildlife field. Also keep an eye on Andrew Gelman's bugs()
function for running WinBUGS from R

http://www.stat.columbia.edu/~gelman/bugsR/

This is continually being updated.

*******************************************************************
2) Thanks for telling us about problems with 1.4beta. These are
generally due to the change in update order in 1.4, which nicely sorted
out the problems with forward sampling, but of course introduced some
more).

WinBUGS 1.4 will be properly released before the key expires on January
12th, and we will be asking you to register as this is our evidence to
our employers that people want the program!

*******************************************************************
3) Welcome to any new list members, who downloaded the key for WinBUGS1.3
after 8th November. Due to a technical cock-up, it took until the end
of November to add you to the list - for details on how to contribute
to or leave the list, please see

http://www.mrc-bsu.cam.ac.uk/bugs/overview/list.shtml
