PRESS RELEASE

Society (Volume 4, Issue 1, January 2002) includes the article 'The British
General Election 2001: The centre right consensus' by David Downes & Rod
Morgan. The paper examines the political role of law and order during this

offenders emerged with a rediscovery of the criminal rather than the crime
as the rationale for sentencing policy.
