Can anyone help on this one?

I have tried Lawtel's EU enquiry service and they in turn have tried the Commission's London office with no success.

We would like to find out about progress work on Brussels 1V, which will be a harmonisation of the laws on succession, probate and inheritance. It was mentioned in an article in SFLA Review, Issue 91, Nov 2001 (Solicitors' Family Law Association) about the UK Family Law Act conference, which was looking at the need for reform of the 1986 Act, also with reference to the impact on it of the Hague Convention and Brussels 11.
It was during this conference that work on Brusels 1V was referred to.

Can anyone help with any further information. I have got nowhere on the Commission sites or Eurlex or Celex.

Thanks,
Pat Walker
