Does anyone know what edexcel are doing about intermediate GNVQ? Literature from Edexcel states clearly enough that VGCSE will replace part 1 and a QCA web page on the consultation process states that VGCSE is intended to replace Part 1, Foundation and Intermediate GNVQ. A colleague phoned Edexcel earlier today to be told that Intermediate GNVQ was not being replaced by VGCSE. Unaware of the earlier call I phoned Customer Services later in the day to be told that it definitely was replacing all three qualifications. Needless to say planning and promotion for Sept 2002 is rendered difficult! Can anyone help? Roger Carr
