Are prefilled syringes of Morphine available - or are all the medico-legal and safety issues overwhelmingly large? Would this make it easier to deliver analgesia - could design Drugs cupboard where you have to electronically sign in and out?? Still 2 nurse check. Could have levels of access to cabinet - who knows who goes in drug cupboards now? You could log out the drugs - even allowing for automatic requisition! Just a thought
