When you have small display cases with only one or two objects in them it is easy to post information below or next to the items. The best examples I have seen provide a brief abstract first and then a detailed description/history follows. However, the display cases that are jammed full of objects with little numbers next to them are sometimes hard to decipher. Sometimes it is difficult to determine which numbers are associated with which objects. I've often thought that a small picture of the object in addition to the number would greatly aid in locating the associated description/history of the object. Grant L.
