Greetings; Can anyone recommend any books on technology in Europe during the Merovingian period? (I mean, roughly 400-800 a.d.) I am trying to make a case about mixing cultures, underprivileged classes, and practical inventiveness. (Low technology) I'm sure there has to be something out there. I am interested especially in the Baltic and Slavic areas. My designations are a mess, but my heart is in the right place... Anybody please help! thanks -Sarah Miller
