Dear colleagues, Anyone (unlike me) who can understand statistics may find this useful! Thanks to Info-Europa for pointing it out. EUROINDICATORS. AN INSTRUMENT FOR ECONOMICAL ANALYSIS OF EUROPE A new Eurostat Internet site pools the main short-term economic indicators Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Communities in Luxembourg, and the Member States' statistical offices have opened a new Internet site devoted exclusively to euro-indicators. This site provides an essential information tool for analysing short-term economic developments in general, and the evolution of the euro zone in particular. It offers access to a group of harmonised statistics covering the euro zone, the European Union and the Member States which can otherwise only be consulted on separate sites. Eurostat and the national offices are thus responding to demand from users of infra-annual statistics, and in particular to requests from the European Central Bank, the Ecofin Council, the Commission, financial markets, analysts and researchers. www.europa.eu.int/comm/euroindicators ---------------------- Patrick Overy EDC Librarian University of Exeter Law Library Amory Building Rennes Drive EXETER EX4 4RJ tel.
