Hi, I appreciate if you can help me in clarifying the issue: We are an Academic Library, we use the OLIB software for our library applications. Our main authority fields are not MARC based. We are thinking of re-converting them to MARC. The question is, what is the future of MARC, will Dublin Core replace it? Or is it possible to convert our collection to Dublin Core without being MARC based?
