Faculty Position
Applications and nominations are invited for a full-time, tenure-track
faculty position in the MPT program with a 25-year history of providing
quality PT education. The University of South Alabama, a
"Doctoral/Research Intensive" University, is located in the historic city
of Mobile on the beautiful Gulf Coast. Responsibilities include teaching,
independent and productive research activity, and service. Candidates must
be eligible for Physical Therapy licensure in Alabama. Clinical and
teaching experience in neuromuscular rehabilitation, basic therapeutic
skills, or electrophysical agents is desired, with opportunities for
team-teaching and collaboration in these areas. Post entry-level doctoral
degree preferred. Candidates with specialist certification and a
post-graduate degree are encouraged to apply. Salary and rank commensurate
