The Society for the Study of Medieval Christianity and
Culture is sponsoring sessions on 'Teaching the Saints: their Lives and their
Role in Medieval Spirituality' at Kalamazoo and Leeds 2002.
I am looking for people who would be prepared to join in a
small panel at each session and contribute on their experience of teaching
this material today, suggest useful approaches to engage student interest, raise
problems for discussion or offer aspects of current research which will inform
study and teaching. Those already giving papers in another session would be eligible to make a second contribution in
this way.
