KAMA RIVER SO POLLUTED PEOPLE DON'T NEED SOAP TO WASH
CLOTHES. "Vecherniye Chelni" reported on 24 September that water in
sections of the Kama River in Tatarstan is so polluted with active
synthetic agents that people can wash their clothes in it without adding
any soap. PG
