I am doing research on the Oswego River in the New Jersey Coastal Plain in the region known as the "Pine Barrens". Peat development alters the hydrology and geomorphology of the river's floodplains. Can anyone refer me to references or people that deal with the geomorphology of rivers that flow through peatlands?
