I am doing a research project for Cambridgeshire Libraries into membership procedures and I was wondering how other libraries deal with members of the public who wish to join the library but have no fixed address, such as those who live on house boats, in mobile homes or the homeless? Also, what do other libraries do about children who cannot find guarantors for their membership, such as teenagers who have left care at sixteen? Any responses would be gratefully received.
