You might want to check out this link, although it refers primarilyto online news as opposed to physical hard copies of journals.

Participants are set up with a physical head gear to track their eye movements as they read online news.

Subject: [EM_LIST] Tests of title pages of journals

Dear all,

I have a question if somebody of you have an experience in making some eye-tracking tests on title pages of journals with a goal to improve readibility, atractivity of the title pages in shops and for a reader in general.

The second question is related to the first one: How often are such tests done.

Thanks for any answer.
