We have been working for quite some time (here at the Univ. of California-San Francisco, Fresno Medical Education Program) to construct a tool that measures knowledge and skills related to evidence based medicine. Our family practice residents took the test before our new ebm curriculum was launched last month. We would like to find out if our test (and the grading rubrics we use to score it) actually distinguishes people who know something about ebm from those who don't.

To that end, I am looking for folks who consider themselves reasonably knowledgeable about evidence-based medicine to take our online test. It takes about 30 mintues. I would be very appreciative to any of you who could do this for me. If anyone is interested, I'd be happy to share with you how we grade the test, and I'd love to discuss it and share other ideas. But for now, I just submit this request to help me out. If you are willing, and you have a half-hour, the test can be found at:

Thanks in advance!

Sincerely,
