     The Summer 2001 issue of Disability Studies Quarterly is now
on the Web at <www.cds.hawaii.edu>. The symposium theme for this
issue is Engaging Anthropology in Disability Studies. The
symposium editors for this issue are Russell Peter Shuttleworth
and Devva Kasnitz. It also contains: Acceptance of Imperfection
by Erin Martz; Disability and the Genome: Resisting the
Standardized Genomic Text by James C. Wilson; Serving Students
with Disabilities: Reflections of a Community College Teacher by
Robert C. Johnson; A Pessimistic Finding Regarding Faculty
Affirmative Action in Higher Education by David Pfeiffer and
Wandwossen Kassaye; and What's in a Name? Terms Used to Refer to
People with Disabilities by Karen Finlon Dajani. This issue
introduces a new section on Poetry with three poems. Finally
there are the Book, Video, and Film Reviews ably edited by Elaine
Makas.
