Depressed to learn I am not only environmentally extravagant (3 children,
with children of their own) but also racist: in fact the original discussion
was about excessive energy consumption, which is mainly associated with the
white western lifestyle. But at least you are all getting the chance to air
your favourite issues.

Amused however to see the number of mailbase correspondents has dropped from
319 to 317 in the course of these discussions. That should have saved a
couple of nano-joules.

Good night everybody, I'm off for a cold shower. Tomorrow a candle lit
veggie supper and talking to a good friend about bio-mass energy (serious)

Better go before anyone else gets insulted!

Originator of mailing, now v humble and will make sure I delete anything I
think might offend from things I forward in future..... that should make
posting short and simple

Amended version:

Turn out your lights and anything else you can manage without between 7.00pm
and 10pm on 21 June.

Good night!
