The Department of German Studies at Reading University has a vacancy for a lector (native speaker of German) from October 1 2001. Duties will include German oral classes, text-book classes, first year post-GCSE classes; also "historical texts" and "literary texts" courses, and "preparation for year abroad" in summer term (including a literature seminar). German for Business purposes and Translation into German may also be required. The post will be for twelve months and the salary will be in the region of £12,800.
