Professor position
The University of Basel invites applications for a
Full Professorship in Environmental Geoscience (Earth System Science)

The Earth Science and Geography Departments expect the successful candidate to perform research on Surface Processes, i.e. to investigate interactions between geo- hydro-, bio- and atmosphere. She or he will have experience in numerical modelling of surface-near processes in time and space.
In terms of teaching this professorship will take a leading role in the final planning and the co-ordination of a newly developed curriculum in Environmental Geosciences. She or he will also teach in the framework of the recently revised Earth Science and/or Geography Curricula.
