'OOPE' is South Thames Region-speak for when you are released from the rotation for a period of "Out Of Programme Experience". All the multitude of forms etc you have to fill in to get this are labelled 'OOPE'. Sorry, didn't realise it was only referred to as that down here. And to 'MD', apolologies for grammatical errors.
