I'm having fun, doing another glossary of navalese, from 'Their Lawful Occasions - Traffics and Discoveries.

There is a short passage in which Pyecroft says "I sometimes think that me in a copper punt, single-'anded, 'ud beat a cutter-full of De Rougemongs in a row round the fleet".

The implication is that Pyecroft was 'stalkier' than most, but who was De Rougemont, please?
