Fixed term for one year to work on a Wellcome Trust funded project, facilitating public consultation on medical genetics in Lancashire in association with Lancashire Evening Post. Your duties will include assisting with background research for newspaper articles, organisation of a Gene Week in association with the Lancashire Evening Post and the collection and analysis of responses to articles sent by post and email.  You should have a PhD awarded or submitted and have skills in research methods and writing for publication. An interest in healthcare would be an advantage.
Interviews will be held on 10th July 2001.
