The successful applicant must have demonstrated leadership in technology field. He/she will devise broadcasting and computer technology strategies for RFE/RL, work with other international broadcasters and the US Government, and ensure that RFE/RL remains a technology leader. This position is based in Prague, Czech Republic, and is a senior management position that reports directly to the president of RFE/RL. Qualifications: Training in communications technology, broadcast engineering, computer sciences or a related discipline with demonstrated management skills. A minimum of ten years of progressively more responsible management in these areas, with significant experience in preparing strategic plans, budgets, proposals and in negotiating technical service contracts. Incumbent must possess strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written skills, and demonstrated ability to lead a diverse employee population.
