During the recent bout of sunny weather I saw a 2 year old who had been
badly burnt (not friction burn) on a metal slide on a playing ground. Her
right buttock was mainly effected. Having worked mainly in Northern A&E
depts where it rains a lot I have not come across such a severe burn before
from a slide. The accident occurred at 1800 hr so the slide had all day to
heat up.

Has the list come across this before? Do "they" make slides that wouldn't
have this problem in hot weather.
