Hi there, I am able to help out. I have done some mapping work with the Royal College of Psychiatrists and can produce complex maps from postcoded data, including comparing deprivation indices such as single parent families, unemployment etc, mapped by post code or by electoral ward. See www.medical-legal.co.uk/GPs.htm and www.medical-legal.co.uk/SES.htm for examples of how data can be mapped, in this case GP practices. Lables can be added and several layers of detail created. Output can be as Word document, HTML page etc. Please let me know if you need any help in this area, contact details as below Trefor GP and Medical Information Specialist Dr Trefor Roscoe Medical Director Medical Legal Software Ltd. 17 Owlthorpe Grove, Mosborough Moor, Sheffield S20 5JX UK T 0114 251 0447 F 0114 251 0558 M 07771 982 670 -----Original Message----- From: Evidence based health (EBH) is the integration of individual knowledge [mailto:[log in to unmask]]On Behalf Of Dobbie, Fiona Sent: 10 April 2001 17:01 To: [log in to unmask] Subject: mapping exercise Apologies for cross posting. One of my colleagues is planning an audit of voluntary sector youth work provision across Greater Glasgow and then plans to plot these various projects on a map. Does anyone have any experience, references or contacts regarding similar 'mapping' type evaluations. with many thanks in advance, Fiona Dobbie The information in this e-mail and in any attachments is confidential and may be privileged.
