The successful applicant will be expected to have a high and growing international reputation for original research and publication in economic geography and associated fields, to have an established record in generating external grant, research studentship and contract income from a range of sources, and to assume an academic leadership position in the departmental research cluster in Urban and Regional Development. The appointee will be expected to have broad teaching interests in Economic and Social Geography, and to contribute to the MA in Geographies of Globalisation and Development.
