Hi all, I have joined this forum just now. My name is Sridhar.I am a second year student of Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research,Mumbai. I am doing M.Phil course.As part of the degree requirement I am doing a thesis on the "dynamic evolution of Information technology" Can any one suggest me the theoretical concepts behind why cities in the close proximities have been chosen as the places of IT evolution? With the advent of IT the barriers of the borders and the benifits of locaional clusters still exist. Why is this so? also what type of relationship one would expect between these two cities?
