UMIST, Friday-Sunday 6-8 April 2001

This is your last chance to book your place at Language World!

Language World is the annual conference and exhibition of the
Association for Language Learning and it offers professional
development to support the teaching and learning of foreign
languages at all levels.

This year's event is taking place at UMIST, Manchester between 6-8
April and the theme is Motivation...for all! Languages for life!" The
event is part of the European Year of Languages. The conference
sessions are designed to be refreshing, stimulating, outward-looking
and highly practical, and there are over 60 sessions to choose from.
Running alongside the main conference on Friday is a one-day course
on the new GCSE specifications. The exhibition is the UK's largest for
materials for language teaching and learning.
