Dear Gabriella

Unlike Bodil who is the only person using the list in the department, I am,
maybe, the only person in this country to do so (dear compatriots,
a-u-u-u... let me know if I am wrong!..). It is very interesting (and very
responsible, of course) to represent anyhow a whole country. I never had
such an unusual opportunity before joining the list. Due to the list, I
became more reading, more thinking and more planning. Additionally, since
there is a sensible scarcity of professional information sources here (or
they are too expensive), the Jiscmail can serve as one of such sources
(literature references, citations, addresses of professionals worldwide,
etc). Also, it is greatly important, I think, that an information you
receive from the list is usually fresh (of-the-moment), produced by quite
different specialists (of-various-minds), from many territories of the world
(of-global-character), and convenient to get (of-easy-access). Perhaps, I
would compare participation in this list with attendance at an interesting
for you and endless scientific conference where you can always go out the
hall to eat or sleep, and return to the venue to learn another couple of
useful things or to ask current presenters about the things of your
interest. Thank you, the list owner and the list members!
