Dear AMV, In my experience as a Vodder Lympfatic therapists I use both the
traditional bandaging technics as also Kinesiotaping. Of course does skin
irritation sometimes occur, which forces me to stop taping. But on the
overall it is a good complementary method, combined with T12 manipulation,
Cranio-Sacral therapie, etc.
If skin status is an Issue in this case than taping may be problematic. As
is walking around with tape in the Face. It seems the japanes don't care,
but the swiss do, they rather suffer further with their Migraine, than weare
a tape in the face. Perhaps I would too. Is is possible to work with EMG
methods, or do training with tiny little weights that you tape for a
therapy-session to the skin and do mimic training before a mirror. I heard
that some artists do this to train their mimic muscles, which of course are
not paralised.

All the best with your patient, and have a nice day.

Best Regards,

Marco
