I'm not suggesting a seamless whole, but I am certainly averse to a chap being written out of the canon simply because, some centuries later, we feel like it was 'us' that invented stuff. Content is important, but approach surely more so? How about the _Letter of Aristeas_ (second chunk) and Calhoun's _Disquisition on Government_?
