All, Linda Fowler-Magerl's _Kanones_ looks spot-on, and I'll thank Magister Bruce for pointing out something I'd missed. An internet search using the terms "Magerl" and "Kanones" chucks up just 8 items for me, but among them is a juicy contents-list (at Freiburg, I think, but maybe not since I've just closed the window), and it looks sufficiently like the sort of thing I for one need: don't need to use the _content/deliberation_ of the law, lest in extremis, in which case I'll chase a paper copy, but where it comes from and the verdict are certainly important. I for one will put water in the kids' soup (they eat too much anyway) and spend the dollars. I nibble at the toes of the master. Angus Graham, Oman
