Vic, my accreditation took about four or five months IIRC. I spoke to Andrew Marsden about it at the time and he said the paperwork was approved at the meetings of the executive, which only happen so often. Considering the problems the State Registration of paramedics (SRParas) are having this may not be unique to BASICS. The Scottish devolution issue may not be helping as they are a bit tied up with that. I agree though, BASICS needs to sort these issues out if it is to shed it's 'village council' image.
