I just learned of this so important dialogue
through a colleague and friend here, Benedictine monk, Br. Colman of Glenstal
Abbey. I am currently working on a doctoral thesis in Theology with a title of
"The speicificity of Christian Theosonetics".
Theosony is my own portmanteau word comprising of
the Greek Theology and Latin sonans and broadly speaking is an attempt to define
sound - supramundane sound also - as revelatory experience. Thus my explorations
draw heavily upon mystical theology as well as straddling the normative
theological disciplines of Fundamental theology. Therefore, I would like to
