Dear colleagues, I am sad to say that Professor G.H. (Harry) McWilliam, Professor Emeritus of Italian at the University of Leicester, died suddenly at his home on 1 January 2001. Those of you in the U.K. may wish to know that the funeral will take place on Friday 12 January at 11am, at St Joseph's Church, Bull Lane, Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire.
