Hello, I couldn't see the advantage of replying *not* to the whole list. Even the "let's summarize the answers and post them later"-argument is not really convincing: B writes his opinion, A writes her opinion; no opinion is discussed and the power of such concentrated knowledge as it is available in this mailing list has not been used. No one is hurt by receiving a few more mails, or? And the intention of such a mailing list is IMHO sharing thoughts and discussing controversial topics which could not be done by behaving like a support forum: one asks and receives single answers.
