So far we have nearly enough papers to run 2 parallel sessions throughout the 2 days; and we still await input from the IESG. However we are still willing to accept further offers of papers, since it will be viable to go up to 4 parallel sessions throughout the 2 days. A provisional programme and registration form are available at http://www.shef.ac.uk/~desg/cinfo/ copies are also attached to this email as Adobe Acrobat versions. This year we do not plan to send out copies of the papers. Instead it is proposed to make the papers available via the internet. All papers sent by email to [log in to unmask] by 26th March 2001 in either MS Word or Adobe Acrobat format will be posted to the web site in Adobe Acrobat format. Access to the papers will be limited by password, and the password will be provided upon receipt of a registration form. Presenters who do not provide a copy of their paper by 26th March should bring 50 copies to the conference. There are two innovation for this year's conference. The first is an additional day made up of 4 'Advanced Workshops for Research PG Students' and (hopefully) a guest lecture. And the second is two poster sessions for research students. Details of the provisional programme and registration form are available at http://www.shef.ac.uk/~desg/cinfo/ copies are also attached to this email as Adobe Acrobat versions. PLEASE publicise the postgraduate workshops and poster sessions amongst the research students in your department. The cost for a research student that presents a poster are very low (=A350 for 2 nights and 3 days). Details for the posters are available at http://www.shef.ac.uk/~desg/cinfo/ Sorry for the long email. We look forward to seeing a lot of you at this year's conference. Best wishes Scott
