Dear Sally,

There is a little bit about the age of a red deer from the Late Mesolithic
site of Ertebolle and a roe from Ringkloster which may be prenatal in my PhD
thesis.
This is now in the UCL and Univ. of London library, Senate House: 'Human
Subsistence and Seasonality in Mesolithic Northwest Europe Based on Studies
of Mandibular Bone and Dentition in Red Deer (Cervus elaphus) and Roe Deer
(Capreolus capreolus)'.

I will check my refs. and see if there are any modern studies which may help
you.

Best wishes,

Richard Carter
