Thredbo 7 Conference on competition and ownership in land passenger transport. THREDBO is an international forum where land passenger transport issues are examined, and recent research and practices are reported. The main issues will be the effects of different forms of competition, ownership and organisation on operators, users, governments/funders and the society as a whole. Well-known international experts like prof. David Hensher, Univ. of Sydney, prof. Jan Owen Jansson, Univ of Linkøping, prof. Chris Nash from Univ of Leeds and prof. Peter White, Univ of Westminster will be among the keynote speakers. The conference is directed towards a broad international audience, like governments, service operators, consultants and researchers. Plenary sessions will be featured, together with parallel streams of papers providing international perspectives on the main issues. Nordic experiments in land passenger transport during the last decade will be a part of the programme. The presented papers will be published in edited proceedings.
