John Ashburner posted a Matlab-Function which rescales images after spatial normalization in order to preserve the concentration of pixel units in the images. Does anyone precisely know how each voxel is modulated with this routine? Is it a step scaling (reverting) the intensity for each voxel according to the deformation matrix? Any hints will be appreciated!
