Dear SPMers, We are going to buy a new computer for image processing and visualization (mainly SPM, Analyze, ... etc.) purpose. The options are Sun (ultra 10, 256 Meg RAM), or a PC (at least 1 Gig RAM, Pentium or Athelon 1.2 GigHz) running Linux. As you know, a PC would be much cheaper even with such high speed, RAM and other features. Can somebody give me any reason why Sun would be a better option for the above purpose?
