Postdoc in Cognitive Neuroscience at NIH Applications are invited for a 2 year postdoctoral fellowship in Cognitive Neuroscience funded by a McDonnell-Pew Program in Cognitive Neuroscience Award to Dr. Vinod Goel (http://www.yorku.ca/vgoel). The Fellow will engage in full-time research on the neural basis of human reasoning and problem solving using neuroimaging techniques and patient studies . The Fellow will be hosted by the Cognitive Neuroscience Section, NINDS, NIH, (Bethesda, Maryland) headed by Dr. Jordan Grafman (http://intra.ninds.nih.gov/Lab.asp?Org_ID=83). This is an exceptional, interdisciplinary lab with excellent access to a wide range of patient populations and PET, fMRI, structural imaging, and transcranial magnetic stimulation facilities. The activities of the Fellow will be supervised jointly by Drs. Goel & Grafman. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. or M.D. with interests in cognitive, computational, and philosophical aspects of higher cognitive functions. The start date is negotiable.
