Dear Sander,

If you load SPM_fMRIDesMtx.mat into matlab, you will find that
Sess{m}.ons{n} will give you the timings of each event for the nth trial
type for session/subject m.

Presumably you will be able to calculate event onset scans from these event
onset times.
