Apart from Rimbaud _Les Illuminations_ there are the early Hugo & Verlaine settings, I would particularly recommend the Hölderlin songs & the Chinese songs with guitar accompaniment. Ravel set Mallarmé (a lovely & unusually modernistic piece), Boulez of course too, later, tattering the words, as it were. Martin
