Josephine, before you commit a sonnet, may I recommend Ted Berrigan's _Sonnets_? There is a very good Penguin edition edited by Alice Notley. Also, WCW wrote some hundreds of sonnets in a Keatsian mode before finding his "voice," which fact you may find either encouraging or discouraging I suppose. Joseph
