"...introducing people to his girlfriend" I loved the story he told a few of us during a break at the reading in Berkeley to celebrate the Rothenberg/Jorris "Poems for the Millennium", (I paraphrase) "How I met my new lady? I was looking out of my apartment window one day and saw this beautiful woman in shorts bent over the hood of her car washing it down, I knew I we'd meet."
