the difference between criminality and conformity is that criminals embrace the more deviant side of the soul that is inherent in all humanity, while the conformist struggles to conceal that aspect of themselves. were we in more modern times i believe that humanity in general may actually evolve enough spiritually to learn how to properly balance their "good" and "evil" sides. so the question is, whose worse those who freely and openly admit to their not so pleasant side or those who wrongly convince themselves that they are somehow above it all, only to let it fester unchecked within?
