I emptied my desk at work mid-week, and, apart from some squeaky toys I once
bought for a jape, the one real memento I took home, after 13 years, was an
improved mouse-mat.

As far as I know, btw, the plural of 'mouse' as in pointing device is still
undecided. I do favour rodents, so to speak, but I wonder if anyone else has
a novel suggestion.

I also wonder whether mouse disorientation is a side-effect of cyberdom,
y'know, the effect of staring screens on brain-wave patterns, etc? Perhaps
there is a need for a study, as in Pavlov's Meece?
